¿Quien es la profesora Williamson?
¡Bienvenidos a mi clase de Español! My name is Haley Williamson and I am muy emocionada to have you (or your student) in my class!
I grew up just a few miles down the road in Snoqualmie, Washington, graduated from Mount Si High School, and then continued my academic career at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. During my undergraduate career, I minored in Spanish and studied abroad in Valparaíso, Chile. After graduating I worked as a Family Support Specialist for the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) at Encompass NW where I helped with Spanish-English translation for Spanish-speaking preschool families. More recently, I attended and graduated with a Master's degree in history from the University of Oregon where I taught undergraduate courses for their history department.
I absolutely love learning languages, traveling, and know from my own academic and professional experiences that knowing a second (or more!) language can open doors in a myriad of exciting ways. I look forward to getting to know you as this year progress and working with you this year at Skyline! Go Spartans!
